Rights in the application

© 2026 Yannick Ribeaut. All rights reserved in original elements for which he holds the rights: texts, his own photographs, visual identity and project implementation. Making the site available does not transfer any ownership rights to visitors or participants. Third-party software, components and resources remain subject to their respective licenses. Contributions remain subject to their authors’ rights. This notice does not claim a monopoly over the idea of pairing a portrait with a window view.

You keep your rights

You retain your rights in the photographs and texts you submit. You declare that you are their author or hold the rights and permissions needed to participate, including permission from recognizable people. For a minor, authorization from their legal representative is required. The author credit entered in the form accompanies the published contribution. No waiver of moral rights is requested.

Permission granted to Yannick Ribeaut

You grant Yannick Ribeaut a free, non-exclusive license. Reproduction rights cover copying, storage, backup, assembly as a diptych, compression and resizing needed for the project, without distorting the work. Public display rights cover the Neighbors gallery, project exhibitions and its presentation and communication materials: website, project social media, press kit, posters and programs. This permission is limited to the Neighbors project and its public presentation. Any sale of your work, advertising use for a third party or use outside the project requires a separate agreement.

Territory, duration and withdrawal

Permission applies worldwide, reflecting internet access and project presentations, from submission until the Neighbors project ends or you request withdrawal. To withdraw a contribution, write to contact@yannickribeaut.com with its reference. New uses stop once the request is processed and the contribution is removed from spaces controlled by the project lead, as described on the Privacy page. Printed publications already distributed and copies made by third parties cannot be recalled retroactively.

Viewing and reuse

The site is open for viewing and sharing links. This does not authorize copying the application, republishing images or texts, selling them or using them in another project without permission from the rights holders, subject to legal exceptions and third-party component licenses. Review and record of your agreement

Each submission is reviewed before publication. The agreement date, author credit, language and accepted terms version are recorded with the contribution; a copy of these terms is kept in its backup. These terms apply only to submissions that accept them. They do not retroactively replace agreements for earlier contributions. Data handling and deletion requests are described on the Privacy page.
